They say that envy and lust are one of the seven most deadly sins but in fashion, these vices are often times unavoidable.
Every girl has that one item that given the chance, they would spend way too much to have. Mine are any Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Every time I happen to see a well dressed girl teetering in those artful designed shoes, my heart skips a beat and all that I can hear is I have to have them. But unfortunately, for me, the price for one pair of shoes is often times how much I pay for an outfit and as much as that the little voice in my head tells me to charge it and worry later, I can't bring myself to do so.
Since most girls are in the same broke, college student position as me I thought I'd help you all out and show you the sisters I found of just some of the JC shoes I've been envying, as always $100 or less:
LUST: MUST:
My advice - Out of all things to splurge on shoes should be the one. Especially if it's pair of shoes that you'll wear every day or with multiple outfits but for most simple girls, Jeffrey Campbell shoes are anything but practical looking. It all comes down to your wardrobe, as well as how courageous you are with your day-to-day dress. Believe it or not, they can be a good staple to have in your closet and in those cases, it's okay to splurge. Now when it comes to looking for doppelgangers of expensive goods, the best tip I can give is to check online. Google search with key terms or descriptives of the item your looking for (ie, color, shape, type) and let the world wide web find you an almost identical item for half the price. Keep in mind though, your getting what you pay for. Don't be surprised if these items wear out or aren't as comfortable as their expensive lookalikes.
