I would apologize for my random absence but truthfully, I make no apologies. My time was spent laying in the sun, sifting through pages of fashion magazines and overall, just enjoying the beautiful spring time weather that has finally decided to emerge near me after a bipolar mixture of rain and cloudiness. Besides you should never apology for time wasted, sometimes just because you could be doing something more productive, doesn't always mean you should be. Yet I will admit that the sunny weather has not just caused me to neglect duties, including this blog but overall has made me a lot more lazy when it comes to my day to day dress.
Half the fun of the start of the day is picking out your outfit, especially when you allow yourself to dress however you please despite the occasion. I try to mix it up daily and I'm more likely to take into consideration that the outfit I wear matches the mood I'm in rather than the weather. Lately though I seem to be stuck in pattern of sundresses and flipflops without any in between.
This is an understandable habit to come by and I have just the solution to make sure your lazy spring into summer wardrobe doesn't look too, well, lazy.
My advice: All the worlds difference is made by just putting that bangle or hat on. But if you don't care enough to put that extra little effort in, don't feel like you have to. Spring and summer are two seasons where lots of layers and accessories aren't exactly the best route to go. Let your laid back attitude match your summer style and keep it simple. But you can't help but to admit, it does help that while your neglecting duties and letting the rest of yourself go that you at least put effort into looking good while doing absolutely nothing.
